BakProtek
has reached out to Kg Pian, Temerloh
On 10th January 2015, MyKasih Foundation has donated a total of
131 BakProtek school bags to the children in Kg. Pian, Pahang,
a Orang Asli settlement located between Temerloh and Jerantut.
Besides BakProtek school bag, the children are presented with
school uniforms, stationeries and shoes which are the necessity
for school reopening this week.
Kg. Pian is located near Temerloh, one of the area
that is seriously affected by flood recently. The journey from
Kuala Lumpur took 2 hours plus. We met many volunteers cruising
on the highway to transport aids and many were helping the affected
families to rebuild their home on the same day. Our initiative
would at least bring relief to the families in preparing their
children to school while busy rebuilding home. Though the Back
To School shopping season has ended last week, we will continue
to raise more bags to be donated to the needy indefinitely.

This round, we are not able to have the Thank You Cards from the
children. But we hope through the form of photography will be another
way of saying Terima Kasih to express their gratitude.
Thank you very much once again to all the donors and MyKasih Foundation.
